atch-making does involve a few rules. They're simple but not well-known. So I've laid them out here for you to consider when drawing up a design for your new patch. Here they are:

            -  Draw the actual size and shape when possible.

            -  Draw or trace inside design details.

            -  Color your sketch/drawing or indicate colors
               by pointing to specific areas with arrows.*

            -  Avoid small lines of detail on small patches.

            -  LETTERING CANNOT BE LESS THAN 1/4" HIGH.

            -  If possible, submit a decal or sample emblem to copy.
               It will be returned if requested.

            * We will match color samples as closely as possible.
